Traveling around the world has made me realize something. It is one of the best amazements when you look around and understand that we worship the same God! All tongues and nation's! When people hear the good news of the Gospel and we sing songs of praises, it is to the same God! Does that amaze anyone else??

Being in Nicaragua made that realization very clear. Every Saturday the ministry REAP has a church service at their farm and locals from the town come and worship, and then they split into smaller groups to discuss the Bible.

During worship one night the song "From the Inside Out" by Hillsong was playing, in Spanish. And as it started, I was happy for one because I knew the song, but as I looked around I saw a glimpse of heaven. My heart was overflowing because this song was known in Spanish and in English and I just thought, wow, in Heaven we get to do this. We get to sing praises to the Lord. And maybe we will all be singing in the same language but maybe we will all be singing in different languages but oh how the sound of singing as one will sound like angels bowing down to the Great I Am!

When we sing as one we are one body in Christ. We are one unity coming together to give praise to the one who paid our debt! In that moment there was no awareness that we were singing in different languages, there was only one God that we were all there to worship.

Worship is the strongest way that I am most transparent with God. When I sing to Him, something happens in my heart that allows surrender in such a special way. When I can sing my words to Him, man do I get excited about eternity and singing forever and ever.

I started to find some familiar songs in Spanish and listen to them. I do want to learn them but I like to listen because it reminds me of this, that one day all tongues and nation's will be singing as one! That we will be worshipping the Lord most high together. But until that day I will settle for Spanish songs on Spotify!

"All nation's whom You have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord. And they shall glorify your name." Psalms 86:9
