Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness. Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed thy hand hath provided. Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
About two weeks ago I went to go get my shot for this journey. Not the biggest fan of needles, but you know need to do the necessary things to be prepared. So the woman there starts asking me questions about my trip and it begins to sound familiar to her; come to find out she had helped out another girl a few years back with the same trip. She is super excited for me and excited about the adventure this will bring. She continues to talk about other information and gives me advice on a starter kit including wipes, jet lag, upset stomach, hydration salts, insect repellent, mini water filter, etc. I am taking pictures of all of this to eventually find on Amazon. As all of these items are on her desk she pauses, looks at it all and tells me that she is going to purchase all of these items for me. And I just cry, and then she cries and we are both just emotional. She gives me my shot and prays with me afterwards. When I left the only song playing in my head was Great is thy Faithfulness. I was reminded at the faithfulness of the Lord and the way His timing is so perfect.
Later that night I received a message saying that someone had purchased something off of my Amazon wish list so I went to go and remove that item. When I checked every last thing had been purchased. Again I wept with joy at the perfect timing of the Lord. Great is His faithfulness to His people and his plans for our life according to His will. The Lord is good all the time.
